Installing 10.4 on B&W G3

Hi all,

I still have an old B&W G3 that I need for SCSI. I recently had the HD replaced, and the repair shop installed 10.4.

I need 10.2 to drive my SCSI scanner, so I partitioned the drive, and installed 10.2 on a small partition.

I want to reinstall 10.4 for regular usage, but I don't have a DVD drive in this machine.

I've tried the obvious:
-booting my G4 powerbook in Target mode, and selecting the install DVD in the PB as the startup. (also tried "option" at start-up)
-selecting the install disk over the network (airport with the G3 connected directly. (haven't tried direct ethernet yet.)

These, and other permutations of connections that I've tried even recognize the external drive.

Is there a way to do this on a B&W without having to buy a DVD drive?
Are there 10.4 install CD's available?

Thanks,
Jeff
