error project is unreadable or maybe too new for this version of final cut

Guys,

I just did my color correction, then quit final cut pro and moved my external drive from my G5 to my MBP and trying to open the project file there to render it overnight, and then it gives the error msg: Project is unreadable or maybe too new for this version of final cut. I'm on 6.0.2 and there is now way that the project is too new because I have the latest version of FCP.

When I went back to my G5 and try to open it there, it gives the same error msg. Please help me because I need to export this for a client asap. I've tried the files from the autosave vault but they all give the same msg. I don't understand because this is so unbelievably weird.

Thanks guys

Hi,
again, I have tried everything. research a lot and found there are people that got their project file back and running again.

some of them just opened the file the next day and got it working somehow..
most ot them logged in as a different user and got their file working
almost all of them opened their files in a different computer and got theirs working.

but not me..

will appreciate any help, kinda desperate now. Thank you.
