One question before I buy an ipod....

Will I be able to use downloaded music, say from a program like soulseek or napter, and put them on my ipod via itunes?

What about mix cds? Are you only allowed to use real audio cds and legally downloaded music?

Just read the specifications about the iPod it tells you which music it will play.

Basically MP3 AAC are fine, but music in WMA format if it contains DRM will not play.

You can rip any CD into iTunes and put them on your iPod with no problem at all.

But if you talk about illegally downloaded music here you will get your posts removed.
