HELP!!! Tried to import my SonicStage library, but it doesn't work

I used a Sonic mp3 player for ages and have SonicStage set up to import and export music files. Now I installed itunes and wanted to transfer these music files into my itunes library, but it doesn't work. Is there a way to do this, cause I actually can't be bothered to import everything individually and I don't have all CD's with me either? Do I have to convert the files first? Would be great if somebody could help me with this.

I seriously doubt that you can convert the files, most major download sites, & I'm pretty sure this includes SonicStage, have site specific protection on their downloads that limit their compatibility to only certain specific players. Sony has tried to do everything they can to shut iPods out of the market, so I'm almost certain your downloaded files will be protected & can't be converted. If you can burn your downloads to an audio CD, that is going to be your only option.

Sneeky Sonic People! Well, I didn't downloaded the tunes directly from Sonic. They are from a different website and I have them also in a different folder. I imported them into the Sonic Library. So I should be able to convert them and transfer them to the iTunes. It'll be difficult with the CD's, that I don't have anymore, that I directly imported. I will try and burn them on a audio cd through a different cd burning program and than try to import them. It's a pain, but looks like my only option at that point.
