Kensington Expresscard Mouse won't let MBP sleep!

Hey all,

I recently purchased a Kensington Ci85m Wireless Mouse that communicates via expresscard34. I got it because it's much cheaper than bluetooth mouse, and i wanted to be able to leave it in the laptop when i moved around (as opposed to a sticking out USB dongle).

The problem i'm having is that when i close the lid with the expresscard in, the computer goes to sleep, then wakes up, then goes back to sleep, then wakes up, and so on and so on. When the computer goes to sleep with the display on, the computer goes to sleep, then wakes up immediately and stays up.

(This problem also seems to occur with usb. (but this isn't so much of an issue). When a usb kbd/mouse/etc is plugged in, the computer can go to sleep just fine. but when you unplug the peripheral while the computer is still asleep, it'll wake up (and if the lid is closed, go back to sleep and stay asleep).)

Please let me know if you guys have found any solutions for this; i understand that some people have been having waking/sleeping problems with expresscard items.

Thanks and happy December!
