Q: Reading documents from the internet

Why can't I read documents downloaded from the internet, when I thought my iBook was capable of allowing me to interface with word?

    Word documents would be documents that end with a ".doc" extension. Your iBook should have at least three programs capable of opening Word documents:

    Appleworks
    TextEdit
    Pages (a demo version comes with every iBook)

    You could also buy Microsoft Office, or use OpenOffice or NeoOffice.
