Multiple album covers for same albums

Yes indeed I have the first problem too.

I kind of accept the cover art thing not being an exact science and copy and paste them from amazon or use the widget from widgetfoundry.com

I've had this problem happen a few times, here's what i did, go in your music folder where itunes stores that specific album, copies the whole album one a external disk erase the original from the itunes folder,make sure you empty you trash, start itunes and try to play one of the song, itunes will tell you it can't find the song press cancel then erase all the songs you have in your itune library of the same album and then re-copie
the album from your external drive to itune library and everything should be ok hope this helps
(it's important that the information in the album info is the same for all the included songs, same album name same artist,etc.)

Have you found a solutions that works for iTunes problem? I am having the same issue and the one possible response in this forum does not work and it is far to cumbersome for the hundreds of albums I have to correct. I'm looking for a short and simple resolution if that exist.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I have just purchased an album of Itunes store and for the first time I now have 43 album covers even though it set as a compilation tried delete and reimport but that does not seem to be working 😟

Any help would be very welcome... very frustrating never had this issue when I import CD normally maybe should not use itunes store!!!!

Highlight entire album, right click, click "Get Info", then under "Album Artist" (not "Artist"), type "Various Artists", and make sure the "Compilation" box reads Yes.
