Q: Explorer automatically opens when booting up. Arrh!

Hey Guys,

How can I disable the dreaded Internet Explorer at start up. For some reason my friends computer, when ever she boots up, Explorer automatically opens up. There's nothing relating to it in the Start Up Items folder.

Hello Sofus,

Correct me if I'm wrong. Under System Preferences, there is no Users and if you meant going to the Startup Items folder, well IE isn't located in there as well. Any other reasons this happens.

IFelix, I apologize for the late response. This is OSX 10.4. Anyone,this is driving her to drink. Please help. Also, nothing is in the Startup Item folder.
