Videos with NO sound

Videos with NO sound

My videos I downloaded to my touch from my desktop are on my touch and play, but play with no sound. Is there something I need to do to have them have sound? Or is my touch faulty? There are no other problems with the audio in any other aspect of it.

PC, Windows XP, Ipod mini 4g, Ipod touch 16g

Quicktime or Quicktime Pro (which iTunes uses) don't convert "muxed" ( muxed means multiplexed where the audio and video are stored on the same track) video files properly. It only plays the video and not the audio.

You need a 3rd party converter to convert the file with both audio and video.

I've checked recently Visual Hub. It converts videos to MP4 format very well and understands a lot source video formats.
