I have the same exact problem, and this just happened recently for some strange reason, never had a problem with Yahoo mail before

I'm having the same problem, and its been happening since the 13 of this month. And I tried changing passwords through yahoo.com and no luck...

Yup, that's one of the first thing that I did, tried changing the password, but didn't work...

make that three with the same problem, it seemed to work for about an hour yesterday but right when i was about to send an email, i think it crashed again and i lost my link...

I'm number 4. It was working fine before, but now has gone awry. I only have numbers and letters in the two accounts I'm trying to use.

Everything was fine until yesterday and now the push feature won't work. I tried a reboot and that didn't help. Anyone else experiencing this or know what the problem is?

This is very frustating
It seems to be an iphone problem (or AT@T) - Not yahoo problem

What I discovered is that the problem is seen often when my internet connection is busy -- meaning
my PC is consuming the internet connection while I tried to access my email via iPhone. Perhaps,
the email client software on iPhone is sensitive to data loss when the line is busy. However, it goes
thru eventually if I keep reading my email manually on my iPhone.

This is the message that I get "Cannot Get Mail The user name or password for "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is incorrect." So I don't think it has anything to do with loss of signals

There is a separate discussion going on here about the loss of push on Yahoo. This seems to be the case for everyone at the moment. It's a minor irritation to me - you press the little curly arrow and it'll go and get mail fine - just won't do it automatically.

I get the "password incorrect" message from time to time, but the problem never lasts. Rather than change the password, how about just retyping the same one. That has worked for me the couple of times the problem persisted.

i'm having this issue and even changed my password to just letters. unable to login. what's going on??

This has been going on since the 13th! I'm so frustrated.

Just wondering... is it possible that this is only happening to phones that are jailbroken?
