XServe RAID not mounting

My XServe RAID is suddenly not showing up on my desktop. This is a RAID with 14 250 gb drives.

RAID Admin shows everything normal, all functions are working fine. However, Disk Utility does not see the RAID at all. Fibre Channel utility shows the card as fine.

I have tried everything I know to do. I have reset and reseated the controllers multiple times. Updated the firmware to 1.5.1. Powered off, pulled the power cords, the fibre cables, etc... and etc...

Any ideas as what to try next?

Thanks in advance for any ideas--I'm stumped!

Thanks for the quick reply Tod--Sorry to post and run.

I see the SCSI device tree in system profiler, but nothing listed as being on the SCSI bus. (It's OSX 10.3.9) Bad SCSI bus/card? How do I check? RAID admin shows the FIbre channel as OK.

LUN masking was enabled. I turned it off with RAID admin 1.5. No change, the RAID still does not mount. Did LUN masking turn on automatically when I reset the controllers? Can you explain LUN masking to me? What does it do?

Thanks,
Andy
