Permissions repair complete

*What I don't understand is how can the permissions repair be complete when the same message appears each time. Shouldn't the permissions repair window stay "clean" if all is ok?*

Michael your message was very interesting for me. I have the same kind of problems BUT I ALREADY UPGRADED TO 10.5.1. I check and repair permissions and ans you write I still have the same messages and some more again. Even if at the end of report the message is "Repair complet". This happens on my MacBookPro.
After your message I am in someway less upset but I would like to get again the old happy situation of everithing repaired and no more message.
Should I reinstall 10.5.1 ??? How ?? Tomorrow I'll check the iMac which is at Home since I have 10.5.1 also on it, to check its repair situation.

Would you mind if I post here a copy of the report ?? Will it be allowed ?

Thanks for your time.

Quite suddenly iCAL calendars appeared to disappear when app is opened nothing but blank calendar. Additionally, problems with MAIL and other quirks appeared. Verified & Repaired Permissions. Most problems seem to have gone away, but not all. Went back to Disk Utility and Verified Permssions. Received following messages…”ACL found but not expected on Applications/Utilities,…Applications,…Library”. Repaired again. Received message that permissions had been repaired BUT with the same "ACL..." exceptions.

What to do now?
