Also receiving the same error. New iPod, never synced before. iTunes 7.5.0.20.

The iPod will start to sync, and gets to at least 60 files/songs, then I receive the pop up message. I'm not sure at what point the message pops up, because I walk away from the computer when it is syncing, but I have seen it still syncing when it gets to at least 60 files/songs.

Congratulations!!!! The days of your worries have just ended, (or started), because I found a solution to this problem. I have been having this problem for some time and I finally found a way to solve it, or go around it actually. so here it is:

Problem: The iPod "XXX" cannot be synced. The required folder cannot be found.

The problem with syncing: The iPod cannot sync more than 25 songs at a time or this message will pop up.

Solution:

Step 1:
Click on your iPod tab and restore your iPod.

Step 2:
Connect your iPod and make sure that "Manually Manage Music" button is checked.

Step 3:
Go to your music tab in iTunes. Scroll to the top.

Step 4:
Click on the first song, Hold down Shift button, and then click like 20 songs down.

Step 5:
Click and Drag the selected songs to your iPod tab.

Step 6:
Repeat Steps 1 - 5 till you put in all your music.

====================================================

This will be an easy task if you only have like 500 songs or so. I had 2000+ songs,so this will be a drag for me.

Enjoy!

P.S. Tell me if this worked for you because it worked for me.

Hey, very nice solution. Except that when i try to restore my iPod the same message pops up again, so it won't restore at all!!
when i connect the ipod, it syncs, but as i wasn't able to add new songs, i unmarked the sync options (i was hoping that would solve the problem). However, what i got is an empty ipod, no songs or photos, that when it's connected syncs nothing. If i try to sync anything, itunes says "do not disconnect ipod, syncing" (maybe is not like that, my itunes is in spanish) after a while the message pops up and nothing is synced.
The only change i made to my sistem was installing a software that emulates a mac. maybe that the problem.

Please, someone help me!
