How can I get stills from my video? I decided to end the movie with several stills and go to THE END.

Unfortunately, the "Save as" function is dimmed and cannot be activated, although the newscasts are viewable and clear. Does anyone have a similar experience, and if so, is there a solution?

    1) To insert a single still frame, select the frame you want, press "Command-C" to copy it to memory, move your cursor to the insertion point where you wish to place it, and press "Command-V" to add the single frame to your project.

    2) To add a "still frame" sequence, select the frame you want, "Control-Click" the frame to open the context menu, and select the "Add Still Frame to Project" option to add the sequence to your project.

I went to the spot in the frame that I wanted to copy and when I hit Command C (Copy), the system made that Thunking Sound to show that the move was not do-able. So I still cannot isolate a still to use elsewhere in the movie or anywhere.

Okay. I posted another "quickie" clip showing how I do it from either the project or from an event:
