How do I access voicemail on iphone from a landline?

Hi

I am going to Canada and do not want to use my phone but want to check the voicemail from a landline phone, any ideas? The regular ATT voicemail has a password default and that does not work.

Press the * key when you hear your personal greeting.
Enter your personal passcode.
Follow the voice prompts.

Which passcode? The iphone doesn't let me enter a voicemail passcode, unless I missed something somewhere!

From your iPhone press and hold the 1 key to access your voicemail, follow the voice prompts to reset the password
