Trouble Connecting Casio Privia PX-575R as a USB Controller Into Logic Pro7

I'm just getting started with Logic Pro and I am trying to connect my Casio Privia as a USB Controller (which it is capable of doing). I don't know very much about the program or USB controllers. I have found after some research that Casio keyboards are pretty incompatible with Macs as MIDI controllers and have downloaded the Yamaha MIDI Driver, a fix recommended on another forum question concerning a similar issue. How do I connect this Casio USB controller keyboard to my mac and then access it as a controller in Logic Pro 7?

Mac Book Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11)
