Music disorganized after disconnecting iPod - why?

I have all 13 tracks of Linkin Park's "Meteora" on my iPod. I organized them in the order that they appear on the album while my iPod was connected to my PC. When I disconnected it, they were in a different order.

This is the normal album, as I have it organized on my iPod:

Foreword
Don't Stay
Somewhere I Belong
Lying from You
Hit the Floor
Easier to Run
Figure.09
Breaking the Habit
From the Inside
Nobody's Listening
Session
Numb

When I disconnect it, this is how it's organized:

Foreword
Lying From you
Faint
Figure.09
Don't Stay
Somewhere I Belong
Hit The Floor
Easier To Run
Breaking The Habit
From The Inside
Nobody's Listening
Session
Numb

What's going on? Why is my music disorganized?

Windows XP, 5.5G 30GB Black iPod

If you want music played in a certain order you can do that by creating a Playlist. Oh, do you have Shuffle enabled on your iPod? That will change the order. If you don't want to build a Playlist then in iTunes, via Get Info change the track order of the songs so that they are in the order you want.

They're the same order on my iPod as they are in iTunes... but I'll double-check later on.
