Nike Amp not connecting

I bought the Nike Amp watch and can't seem to connect it to my ipod (2g). I've been using the Nike Plus system since it came out and am using the same sensor. The manual is pretty lean and I can't seem to get it to link with a wireless remote, just a sensor. Any advice?

I had the same problem at first. I called the help line on Christmas day and at first the woman told me the sport kit did not work with the 2nd gen (crazy woman) but then someone else came on who knew more. All I had to do was hit any button on the Amp and it linked. Try that.

But - now, after only a few uses, the buttons are hard to use. I have to really struggle to get them to press. Anyone else having problems with the buttons?

I am having the same problem, I can not get my new amp to connect to my nano. There is no option for a remote link on the nike + ipod settings just a link to the shoe sensor. I can't seem to find any solution here. Does the nike + ipod receiver need some sort of firmware update. I am on the most current version of iPod nano software 1.1.3. Please help!

Thanks,

Chris
