I've been searching all over for the answer to this: I have my iMac connected to cable internet using the ethernet port (through a hard-wired router, of course). Can I turn on the iMac's built-in AirPort (WiFi) service and connect my iPhone to the internet through my iMac's AirPort service? Or is the AirPort in my iMac just for connecting to a wireless router? I tried creating a new network within the Networking Preferences, and my iPhone saw it, but it did not work. If it's possible to do what I want, what settings should I use? Thanks in advance for your help!
