Region to EXS24?

Hey guys! Somebody please go through the steps in how to convert a region to audio in order to play it in the EXS24 sampler.

P.S. From the arrange window.

G 5 Quad, 4GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.4.9), Reason Rewired with Logic Pro 7.2.3, Recycle, DIGI 002(rack)

Bounce region (track) to 16bit wave
Add EXS24 to a Software Instrument track
Click Edit button top right of main EXS24 window
Click Instrument > New in EXS24 Edit window
Click Instrument > Save and save it to your desktop
Click Zone > New Zone in EXS24 Edit window
Drag your bounced waveform onto the Zone #1 pane
Instrument > Save

Although you’ve now created an instrument, Logic doesn’t know about it until you load it in again. Daft, eh?

Instrument > Open
Locate and load the instrument you saved earlier
Close the Edit window
Click hold on the three dots above Cutoff
Load External > YourFileName.exs

Note that, if you don’t change the save as location the default is to add the instrument to the distributed library and you may prefer not to do that.

Thanks man. They need to make it drag and drop like everything else Apple. The Mach 5 is drag and drop!
