Problem - Ipod Touch will not sync at all

I've had my ipod touch for 4 days. I started having problems with the touch yesterday, when it would stop playing midway through the second song on any playlist or album. I've got the newest software version, and the newest version of iTunes on my computer. I restored the iPod today, and re registered it. Now it won't sync any of my music, at all.
Any suggestions?
