internet sharing
I am a newbe upgrade from Panther client to Tiger server and I cant figure how to share my internet through our small network.
Server= Beige G3 500 booted with Xpost Facto.
Clients=G3,Wallstreet, Pismo, G5, iMacG3
I tried Gateway assistant but....
For now, I am receiving internet on my Pismo after setting the server with Gateway Assistant. The airport icon on the menu bar does not show an up arrow like Panther did with internet sharing on, just a full load of signal strength. But the only way I can recieve is to set my Pismo (Tiger client) to internet sharing set to share from the internal modem to airport. Though there is no internet connection to the modem or ethernet ports I have internet access and I can browse and connect file sharing to the wireless equipped clients.... Somebody wanna tighten me up on the right way to do this?
