problems using iphone on the zumo 550 gps

Hi all,
I have a zumo 550 gps from garmin and i'm having a problem playing my songs that are on my iphone through my gps via blutooth so i can listen to them with my bluetooth headset. i need help pairing the two so they will work. anyone that knows anyway to help please reply.

The iphone does not support audio ( other than hands free phone functions) via bluetooth.

Pairing will work, how old is your Zumo, if it wont pair plug the Zumo in your computer and do ALL the updates for firmware then the bluetooth. To play the music thru it, go to VM and select the Zumo to listen and then try to play a song. Iphone will transfer phonebook, some ppl never try and just say it doesnt work, it does.....

Hi there! I just got the iPhone and Zumo and LOVE them both, and was successful in getting them to pair, but it sounds like your posting mentions I can play the songs on my iPhone through the GPS to my motorcycle bluetooth helmet? You metnion going to VM and selected the Zumo to output the sound to, but as I am still new to the iPhone as I just got it today, what does VM stand for? Where do I find this setting to change?

What you have to do is go to phone then voicemail, and select at the top right corner your bluetooth then play music and it will play! It works most the time!
