PC2700 vs PC3200...

What´s is the diffrence between 2700 and 3200. I will use it in my iBook G4 1.07Ghz. What kind of ram gives me most value?(1Gb)

Hi,

Your iBook can use either PC2100 or PC2700 RAM but it will run at PC2100 speed. Buy which ever is cheapest.

It might work although it could be iffy if the supply voltage is low (expects slightly higher 2.6V supply but can tolerate 2.5V). Many PC3200 modules (like a Micron MT16VDDF12864H) say they have information in their serial presence detect EEPROM about settings for running at PC2700 and PC2100 speeds. I wouldn't count on it working without a guarantee from the seller or manufacturer. Crucial.com now sells PC2700 modules for PC2100 applications such as your iBook.
