BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bingo!

Creating a Bingo game for my kids, I have 75 menus along with a small script for each of them: (1)mov GPRM 2, 1 (2)exit Pre-Script. Have a CLEAR script incase someone wins and they want to start over, so i put a button on each menu incase this happens and is pointed to this script: (1)GPRM 1, 0 (2)mov GPRM 1, 0 (3)mov GPRM 2, 0 (4) mov B1, 0 (5) mov B2, 0 the (B) in the ball number all the way to mov B75, 0
Now my select Ball script is confusing me a bit ,i have 8 scripts for selecting balls; balls 1-9, balls 10-18, ect... The reason for so many ball scripts is that there are not enough lines to add all 75 balls in one script, so and the end jump of ball 1-9 it goes right to 10-18, everything is working ok, but the thing is that yes it's random from ball 1-9 and so on, it's never really a random game because it has to pick those 9 balls in each script before it goes to the next and so on, my question is, can the ball 1-9, ball 10-18, and so on scripts can those be random as well, so if it's picking a ball from script: balls 1-9 and now is going to pick the next from script: 10-18 and back to script balls 1-9 or to another script because i have 8 ball scripts to choose from or did i go about building this wrong.

Downloading now, I am betting it was what I mentioned above. Let's see 🙂 BRB

Edit: Yeah it looks like Line 2 of BS 1 is the issue it should be jump BS 9 if GPRM > 68. Will look more

Yup that was it, just cleared all 75 numbers, though clearing the last 5-10 can take awhile, watch the GRPM 7 value in the inspector

I tried it real quick before i left this morning and it picked all numbers but 68, 70,71,72,73,74,75 picked ball 69.
I let if run a few minutes and still didn't pick those numbers but i may have not waited long enough sence you got it to work, i try it later when i get home.
Will it alwasy wait to the last to pick the 70 numbers or will that be random as well, again i only had i few minutes and only ran it one time so maybe i'll answer my own question when i get home.
Thanks again for spending so much time and enery helping me! i'll let you know my results

I actually burn a DVD with that project on it and pulls the balls, i even say 69th ball but then on 69th i think it's trying to pull the 70's but none of them getting pulled and i think that's the end because when i watch the script run DSP you can see it cycle through the 70's but none being pulled, unless you had made other changes in the BallShacker_1 script, when i got your email the only channge i made was Line 2 of BS 1 is the issue it should be jump BS 9 if GPRM > 68.

thanks

It's Perfect pulls all balls and worked great, had a couple issues, for some reason it wouldn't pull the last 5 balls but i went through ever line or every script and finally found a problem in BS_1 (2) line jump BallShaker_9 if (GPRM) 7 > 68 well i had jump BallShaker_9 if (GPRM) = > 68 and then it worked fine in DSP simulator but kept crapping out with Apple DVD Player but i burned a copy and played it in a standalone DVD player and work, BINGO!, takes a bit of time to call the last few balls but it does work. I would i go back to the main menu after all the 75 balls have been pulled just incase they wanna play the whole card for bingo, man thanks again for all your help

LOL, i'm already messing around with it again i added 25 more menus and gonna work them into picking the balls but i'm gonna add stuff on them like some trivia question or something like that.
The only other question i'd have for you is when every ball has been picked instead of ending to a black screen where in the script can i end back at the main menu.

Hey Drew, i was wondering it i could pick your brain again, again the project is awesome, the kids love it but one says the they had a number and the other said they didn't, so i was wondering if and when your not too busy if you could help me with (1) a recall that would recall the last ball or when someone calls BINGO recalls all the balls that had been pulled, i have no ideal if that is possible or how the heck to build it. (2) and a counter that i had asked about in the last post about counting the 75 balls so that it would know when to go back to the Main Menu.
Thanks again man

Will take a bit of coding there to do that, and probably will have to go with different scripts (with the partitions and so forth the limits are close right now.) Will poke into it in the next couple of days. So it is remember the last ball only prior to the current ball?

Hey Seemore (Charles?)

Got slammed by a cold and some other things, so I apologize for the delay (actually started doing the rework than got waylaid). I do want to get back to it since I actually like playing around with these things and it is fun.

That example is almost sort of there, but I do need to rewrite things to "let" the program know when all the balls are picked (and not sure if I painted myself into a corner with the code as is.) The code is faster as is, but hold off a bit so you do not have to redo it again for the counter.

Drew

P.S. Glad the kids love it. Like I said, bribery for taking out the trash 😉
