Cleaning the screen?

Although it may not be recommended, I use glass/lens cleaning wipes - the same I use to clean my reading glasses and I have not noticed any ill effects.

I have the iKlear Apple Polish and it does a great job for the phone, touch, MacBook Pro and the iMac.

i just use my t-shirt and a little breath, probably not the easiest but i can get it perfectly clean... and im rather OCD about that kinda stuff

You can buy a package of microfiber cloths for a couple of dollars and you get two large sheets/cloths. They work very well for removing fingerprints and anything else. I've had my iPhone since the first of October and I haven't even used a quarter of one of the two cloths. I cut off a quarter of one of the sheets. I clean my entire iPhone every couple of days.

Go down to your local Eye Glasses Store and or Doctor. They should sell cleaning cloths for dirt cheap. No pun intended.

They do an excellent job cleaning off fingerprint oil and finger prints and smudges.

As long as the cloth is soft.

Get the power support anti-glare film set sold at apple stores. I almost never have to clean mine because the anti-glare film has a matte finish and doesnt pick up fingerprints and smudges much. It also makes the phone a lot more useable in direct light and protects the screen. Goes on easy without bubbles too.

I use Pledge Multi-Surface Clean & Dust Spray. ~$4 Works like a charm. Just be careful not to spray it directly in the earpiece. I apply a small amount, just under a dime size on the center and use a soft paper towel to spread it around. It drys quickly without streaking!

I agree I got this when i purchased my IPhone this weekend and before i even did anything put this film on. Im rather OCD when it comes to keeping my electronics clean and this def helps

I buy packages of iClean at the Apple store. They're little individual wipes, and they come with two nice clothes. You can also buy a spray bottle of the same stuff. Works great. I don't know how Apple feels about using glass cleaner, etc. on it, but I wouldn't do that. I did it in a pinch when I ran out of my iClean cloths, and it kind of left a bit of a weird, stickiness on the screen for a few minutes. Scared me. won't do it again, although it didn't hurt it with one use.
