Slingbox with Airport extreme

Trying to hook up slingbox and voip over an airport extreme. I can hook up router (linksys RT31P2) and slingbox to the ethernet and the mac will see it, but when I hook the linksys back up to the extreme I lose the slingbox. Clearly there is a setting I'm missing between the Linksys and the extreme. So close, but so far....

What do you mean by "Ethernet"? Is it connected to a DSL or cable modem or ?? What do you mean that the Mac will see it? Is it via Ethernet or wireless? What is the slingbox connected to? the Linksys or ??

How are you connecting the Linksys to the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS)? What is the AEBS connected to? When you say you "lose the slingbox" what do you mean exactly?

The original setup is a Cable modem connected to the AEBS. The phone line is connected to the linksys, and it in turn is connected to the AEBS (LAN?).
I tried a wall plug ethernet bridge to connect the slingbox to the linksys but the program could not find the SB. I disconnected the linksys and plugged it into the ethernet port on the mac and ran the program with success...but I had no internet access. Back to the AEBS connection and the program can not find the SB.
Been scanning the forum... internet sharing...couldn't I just use the ethernet port for the SB and also use the AEBS?
