It depends on what kind of computer you have. Ideally you will use a photo album program supported by iTunes such as Photoshop Elements or iPhoto. But even without these just put the photos in a folder on your computer, then put the iPhone in its dock. When it appears on iTunes click on it then on the Photos tab. Enter or browse for the name of the folder at the top of the page.
Hint: You can organize photos into albums. In the main folder at the top of the screen create a folder for each album and drag the photos into the appropriate album. Each folder on your computer will become an album when you sync the iPhone. The photos in the album will be sorted alphabetically.
I have a MacBook, I bought it last year. I went to update iTunes, and it asked me for my username and password for this computer. I never put one on. So I need to take it to get serviced or something, to get that changed... I tried the Mac OS X disc, but I waited for a few hours and the reset password screen never showed up.. and the other option, I don't remember at the moment what that option was. Neither worked. So I think I need to get it serviced? Am I correct? Or can they fix it if I wait hours on the help line?
I activated my phone on a friends computer.
So as soon as I get that fixed, I can get those pictures onto my phone. That's great news. Thanks.
Here is a user guide pdf from the apple support website that might help on the password issue.
Once you open the document, search for password.
Help should be found on page 52.
Once you have the password issue resolved, you should be able to run software updates to update the os and itunes.
Hope this helps.
On the iTunes screen there should be a list to the left. When the iPhone is in the dock there should be an entry in this list for the iPhone under "Devices."
Click once on the iPhone entry. The righthand window should then show a row of tabs that includes: |Summary|Info|Ringtones|Music|Photos|Podcasts|Video|
If you don't have all of these tabs there is something wrong with your iTunes installation.
