ITunes won't download album artwork

I have been importing my CDs, and I have ITunes set to automatically download the album art, but on a couple of the albums it says it can't find the art. This makes no sense as I can find those same albums with the art in the ITunes store... so why won't it download the art?

Also, for one album I imported all but one song and then purchased the last song through ITunes, thinking that would help it download the art. It did, but now it lists that one song separately from the rest of the album, even though it has it as the same album - basically it shows the same album twice, once with only one song and once with the other songs. How do I condolidate those?

If you filled in the information on the song manually (when you put CD in it didn't have all info filled out) then the Artwork will not load to it. Artwork will load to any CDs that are recognized on the internet (say you put a disk in and all the tract names, etc.. are filled out then you can get album art, if it shows "Track 1" you cannot)

I had the same problem, ripped about 300 CD's into Windows Media Player some time ago, recently installed iTunes and pointed it to my existing music library. While WMP had cover art for everything automatically, iTunes could only find about half. it's sucked.

I did a search here on this forum and found a site that had most of my cover arts, and then Google Images did the rest, but I had to drag and drop the cover art into iTunes for each album that iTunes itself could not find. took hours.
