Console says TM is working, but no backups to browse in TM!

If I understand the output from Console correctly, Time Machine is busily backing up the 148GB HD on my MacBook to a shiny new WD Passport 250GB external drive and has been doing so for the last week since i first turned it on and Time Machine finished reformatting the drive.

Only, it isn't: when I open Time Machine, only 'now' and 'today' are available on the right-hand side nav, no 'test' files that i've renamed or the day prior are visible, and nothing sits 'behind' the active window i'm looking at.

I've posted the most recent console output below.

I don't have any clue about where to start, would really appreciate some advice.

Thanks!

Thx Peggy Lynn. In Sharing my computer name was blank. I added a name in alphanum-only. I also changed the hard drive's name (had been "Mr Omo" now "MrOmo") to remove the space, in case that's related in any way.

Wow, those changes worked immediately. Now I can travel back thru time with the best of them.

How'd you know that might be the problem? Is that documented anywhere so I can refer others to it?

Thanks!

I think you should change the name of your hard drive to what it was before. Time Machine might get confused about its source disk otherwise and start a new backup set.

+How'd you know that might be the problem?+

I benefited from the pain of the bleeding edge adopters by reading the Time Machine forum before I upgraded to Leopard.

+Is that documented anywhere so I can refer others to it?+

Click on the Help menu in the finder. Type in "Time Machine" without the quotes. Then click on Show all Results. Scroll down and click on the article that is next to last, Time Machine backups are not visible. The same article is available on the Apple website.
