stuck - SDRAM Full Test

Help! My iPod screen is flashing, the top says SDRAM Full Test, at the bottom it says Reset to Continue. It seems to be frozen here. I have tried to reset to no avail. I cannot turn it off either. What next?

iPod, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 30 GB Fifth Generation iPod

I just had the same message on my 30GB this morning. After three hours of the screen flashing with that message it finally let me do a reset. I do not know why this happened and I am curious if this is a common thing.

You've probably got it fixed by now, but for others still having trouble..I had the exact same thing. Press the center button and the Menu button at the same time for about 5-6 seconds, or until you see the apple logo appear. Then it will sit there at the apple for just a few seconds and then will go to your normal menu. All good!
