Installing Fonts w/ Automator

Hello all,
I recently got a MacBook Pro and I'm trying to install my fonts from my old Powerbook (may she rest in peace). I have a .dmg of my font files which I'm trying to install using the Automator. The issue is I cannot get the fonts to install on the system...only on the desktop (so therefore, whenever I move the folder off the desktop, the fonts get lost in Font Book). I cannot drag/drop the files right into Font Book because it causes Font Book to crash.

So what I want to do is: Create a workflow to go through my fonts and validate which ones are not going to harm my MPB, place the validated files into a folder on the desktop, take those files and install them in the system font folder.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
