Q: Mac OS X v10.5: How do I re-install iLife?

I recently installed Leopard on my Mac. Unfortunately, the installation process was an "erase and install", so I backed up my files on an external drive and went through with the installation process like usual. I later discovered that I had lost everything in iLife, except for iTunes.

I still have the installation discs from when I first got my Mac a year ago. Could those be of any help?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Welcome to Apple Discussions. iLife is sold separate to OSX but comes bundled with new Macs. You did the right thing to install a clean copy of Leopard. I rarely use upgrade methods to eliminate that sort of complication. To put iLife back onto your computer use the Mac's original install disk by selecting "customize" at the appropriate prompt. Alternatively if your install disk contains folders with extra software or similar you might find options to restore iLife in there.

Thank you very much for your help. I was able to retrieve all of what I had lost through my previous installation disks.
