signal weak or no signal at all?

I have had trouble with the Airport extream since I got it last year.Either the signal is weak or I can't get it.I have a My airport network on cable modem, but I also have a dsl network for my pc's.I have never had a problem setting up networks.Intill the airport.The only thing I can Thing of is the other network is interfearing with the airport.Any advice would be great .

Imac 24 inch ,Macmini , Apple Tv, 2 and 4 gig Ipod Nano , Airport Extream, Mac OS X (10.4.10)

That is certainly a big possibility. Have you tried configuring the AirPort Extreme base station (AEBS) to use a different channel?

“I found that a small piece of scotch tape under the SIM Card had put enough pressure on the Contact to give a great increase in signal strength.” I Did some Testing on my way home (Field-Test Mode, 3001#12345# ) and saw a difference, Might be worth a shot for some who it might help out.. Worked for me here!

That "fix" is for the iPhone. It isn't of any relevance to the problem being discussed here, which involves wireless network reception from an Apple Airport Base Station. There is nothing mechanical and accessible (like a SIM card) that can be tweaked on an Airport Base Station.
