USB 56k with linux
I've just buyed a MacBook Pro and an Apple USB Modem, since I connect to internet with dial-up.
Is there any way to get this modem to work with Linux?
I've googled a lot searching for an answer to the first question. Sadly it seems that there is no Linux support for the Apple USB modem as it is a software modem and not a real modem. The chipset seems to be from Motorola, but it seems that the only chipset which have had some kind of Linux support from Motorola is SM56, but the driver are obsoleted (and 32bit only).
Is there any chance to get Linux drivers for this modem?
Otherwise, is there an USB 56k modem, possily small, supported by both Linux and Mac OS X?
