I realize there are other topics about this, but I haven't found one with my particular problem. Basically, when I have the router connected, AirPort detects it perfectly, but I only get internet for 2 to 5 minutes, then my internet acts as if the connection has been cut off, but AirPort still displays a strong signal. I called Belkin, spoke to a "senior tech" and after all the firmware updates and setting changes, I still have he same problem: AirPort shows strong signal, internet drops after a few minutes. So the tech at Belkin told me that the router was faulty and to return it.
The funny thing is that when I was "borrowing" internet from someone else in my complex, I was getting perfect, fast internet. Now that I decided to do right, I get problems. I have a feeling that once I get the new router from Belkin, I'm gonna have the same problems. Anyone have any suggestions before I return this tomorrow? Should I even bother, or just return the router to the store? And If I go with a different router, which one has worked best with MBP w/ Leopard?
