I wanted to transfer the photos that i took wif my iphone to my computer. After I pluged in my iphone,it says installing device driver software, after that, its says device driver software was not successfully installed, in the box, it says:please consult with your device manufacturer for assistance getting this device installed. Under this sentence, it has Digital Still Camera, on the right hand side of this word, it has a word Failed. My iphone works perfectly in iTunes, and all functions are working. The only problem that i have is my computer cannot detect my iphone.(In "My Computer", i don't see my iphone.) I've already tried different solutions like reinstall iTunes, Restart computer, go and check the Apple Mobile Device ....... I really need help for this !
Thank you.

I'm having the exact problem now, my computer does not detect my iphone at all, while itunes detects it and allows me to sync and everything works fine. But under my computer it doesnt find it unless I take a picture then it finds it as a camera. Were you able to solve your problem?

    delcid,

The iPhone does not support disk mode, and will only show in My Computer if there are pictures in the Camera Roll on the iPhone. The Camera Roll is where pictures taken with the iPhone show up when you go to the Photos on the iPhone.

    Hope this helps,

    Nathan C.
