Safari doesn't display some cyrillic fonts

After installing Leopard, Safari doesn't display ( some) of my cyrillic content .
I'm developed the website, and all stylesheets are verdana, arial etc. just normal system fonts.

FF displays them wrong ( but readable)
Safari seem to display verdana correct.

I bet, this is a FONT problem with the system, I started the system with the system fonts only, but no success,

Safari screenshot > http://discorevolution.com/Picture2.png

encodigns are fine. on all other browsers, other macs etc. everything is just fine.
I seem to have a problem with Leopard regarding this issue

any suggestions

More likely it is a problem with the page code, whereby Safari is not able to determine the correct text encoding to use for some reason. Have you tried switching to the various Cyrillic options and UTF-8 in View > Text Encoding? Could you provide the url of the site or the html code so we can try to duplicate your experience?

Hi all, I've been having the same problem -- some sites, including www.lenta.ru, won't display in Safari (the text will display as squares), but will display in Firefox. I've tried all the encoding settings. The problem only started when I upgraded to Leopard. (My MacBook Pro had no problems; it's my friend's Powerbook G4 that's misbehaving, if that makes a difference) Could anyone help me resolve the problem? Thanks!
