forgotten keychain password ?

Hi. my new mac book arrived while I was working abroad and my girlfreind set it up while i was away.
when i returned she had forgotten the pass words that she had set up. I took it in to the apple store and I have had the administrator password reset. My problem is that when I am surfing every few minutes it is asking for a keychain password. I thought this was the same as the administrator but its not. Is there any way of resetting the keychain password without making the 30 mile trip to the apple store.

Hi,

You should be able to do this by changing the user account password via System Preferences -> Account. Have a read of this: [Mac OS X: Changing or resetting an account password|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106156]

If a dialog box appears with the message "Your Keychain password will be changed to your new account password," click OK.

There is a Utiltiies folder in your Applications folder. There is an app called Keychain Access in there. Once you have that running you can delete items using the Keychain Access File menu. Since this appears to be happening while surfing the web you will have to determine what application or website is making the keychain request. KA is not an intuitive program I'll admit but hopefully you'll find some link between the reques and a key on there.
