'Firefoxportable' is not a valid short file name

I've had itunes installed on my computer before, but for some reason it stopped working so I tried to redownload it, but now it won't install onto my computer. It keeps telling me:

'Firefoxportable' is not a valid short file name

Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it or work around it?

Please and thank you.

I press run, the installing wizard comes up I press next, I tell it where to save it, which has nothing to do with firefox, then it starts to install, only to tell me, less than a minute later, that it can't because Firefoxportable is nota a valid short file name.

I do have a portable firefox on my jumpdrive. I've tried taking it out, but that wasn't it. I tried restarted my computer, that didn't help. I tried uninstalling the itunes, but it won't let me remove the program either and it tells me the same thing about firefox.

I'm confused and slowly losing my patience with my computer. I'm literally pulling out my hair.
