Olympus P-10 Printer

Is anyone using an Olympus P-10 Dye Sub printer successfully with Leopard? I have tried the printer reset, using the CUPS utility to completely delete the queue, and numerous re-installs of the print driver. The driver from Olympus is pretty old (OSX Panther) but the Leopard built-in one doesn't work either.

I'm having the same problem with the same printer.

I can print from iPhoto when booted into 10.4.1 but not when using 10.5.1.

I'm using iPhoto 7.1.1 in both cases.

I did an "archive and install" installation of Leopard so some necessary files may have not been moved. But I did move the Olympus printer folder.

Please post if you find a solution to this problem.

I also did an archive and install from Tiger and the printer worked fine until the upgrade. I have not bothered to boot up my old Tiger partition since I know it worked fine before. It appears to be a printer queue/spooler problem in Leopard. Considering this printer is now out of production, I'm not sure I would expect a solution from Olympus. In my case, it does not print from any application: iPhoto, Aperture, or PS CS3. I hope someone fixes it since I bought 3-100 packs of ribbon/paper when I bought the printer.

I too found that my Olympus P10 failed on doing a fresh install of Leopard. However, I have found that patience is needed. If I print using the Apple supplied driver, the printer shows it is receiving the data and then the print starts approximately 4 minutes later. It seems as though the system is waiting for a timeout. Also, after successfully printing, the print is NOT removed from the print queue.
The P10 is on an Airport Express. I have yet to test it directly connected to my laptop's USB port.
I am also disgusted at Olympus's lack of support in not releasing a Leopard compatible driver, since I have been delighted with this printer. It's successfully delivered well over 400 prints for me, so far.
