Dropped Iphone and it Won't Turn On

My iphone dropped (not in any liquid and it was in a case) on the sidewalk and now I can't get it to turn on. I'm freaking out here. Is there a way I can get it to work without having to go to an Apple store?
....Also I've tried sitting it on the dock connected to my computer, connecting it directly to the usb to my computer, and to the usb to the travel charger.

Have you tried connecting the iPhone into power to charge it? Does it turn on?

If not, you can try resetting the phone. To reset, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Thanks Jennifer. I've tried resetting it and no response from the phone. Right now it is connected to the travel charger and I guess I will have to give apple a call.

You know I tried resetting it again (this time holding it perpendicular to the ground) and it worked!!! Thank you!
