Problem Printing with Samsung CLP-300N

Hello,
I have a Samsung CLP-300N and I am having issues printing through ethernet. I have a D-Link WBR-1310 that has my Samsung printer connected to it along with my G4 running 10.5. If I connect through ethernet a lot of the time I cannot print to the printer. In the Samsung printer print center is says Printing Page 31%... and then sticks there. However, if I connect through wireless to the d-link router the print center will go right through the "printing page %...." then goes to Spooling LPR or something then will print fine and very fast. This seems to be a recent issue. The internet works fine through both connections.

Thanks,
Brandon

I was having a similar problem with my CLP-300N, except that it never worked as a network printer, right out of the box. System Preferences' printer setup area would see it, and auto detect the driver, and I could add it just fine. But when I tried to print, it would get stuck at 12% and never go any farther or error out. I ended up reading somewhere that the problem is with the network settings of the printer -- for some reason, Samsung decided that a good default gateway address is 192.0.0.192. There is a Windows-only utility available from their website called SetIP that can change this gateway address to something more reasonable. I used SetIP on my Boot Camp partition and changed the gateway address to 192.168.1.1, which is the IP of my Netgear router. After doing this, I went into System Prefs and re-added the printer, and it has worked perfectly ever since.

So if you have access to Windows, you can use SetIP to fix this problem. And if not... I don't know what to recommend. =)
