Application continues to "quit unexpectedly" PLEASE HELP

I tried that, and the program still quits unexpectedly. I have no idea what could be wrong, I've uninstalled the application more than once to the best of my ability. Any other helpful advice? Thanks much.

you're right, my bad. I have no idea, the only other device using a firewire connection is my cinema display which also uses a USB. is there any way to run a diagnostic on it/ could that be the problem?

This is very strange, upon looking at System Profiler I can see said unknown device but there are NO firewire devices connected. I don't know what could be causing this.

P.S. thank you very much for all this great help, I'd be altogether lost without it.

Sorry I hadn't said anything on here I'd been moving back to college for spring semester. Thank William for taking the time to look at it and it's unfortunate the crash log didn't profide any helpful clues. I tried a safe boot and the FW device if definiatly coming from my display. I also tried launching Cubase while in safe boot and instead of poping up a dialog box telling me the APP quit unexpectedly it just stops launching the program at around the same spot as it normally crashes...I don't know if that has any significance or not but i'm open to any and all further suggestions.

it's an iSight

The FW device was my display, had to restart w/o it connected to see it as unplugged. So it's not the unknown FW device. I'm at a loss as to what it could be.
