My computer loses its wireless access after installing Airport Express

After installing Airport Express and connecting it using my existing LinkSys wireless network, it worked fine. However after a few minutes the computer now loses its connection to the wireless network and is unable to re-connect. If I shut the computer down and re-boot it, the wireless connects and everything works fine for a few minutes until it loses its connection. If I try to repair the connection by clicking on "repair", the computer claims it cannot repair the connection but it actually is re-connected. Again after a few minutes is loses its connection. I have disconnected all other wireless items I have without effect. Can anyone help me?

Have you tried unplugging the Airport Express from power, leaving it unplugged, and then seeing whether your wireless network works properly again?

After you set up the Airport Express - how did you confirm it "worked fine". The real test would be to make sure you were able to access the internet via your Linksys wireless router AND stream iTunes via the Airport Express at the same time. Reason I ask is because the symptoms you describe suggest that your Airport Express may not be configured properly as a client on your network - and instead it is functioning as a "base station" that is interfering with your existing Linksys wireless network.
