Synching with Yahoo Address Book

I am using a PC, Windows XP, and trying to sych my contacts from my Yahoo Address book. The issue is, during the synching process, when itunes is trying to contact to my Yahoo account, itunes keeps telling me my Yahoo ID/password is incorrect? What is going on?

Make sure you're using your full Yahoo email address as your ID. Sorry if this isn't much help, but sometimes people don't use the full address and this can cause issues.

No, that's not it. I tried it both ways (full email address and address without the @yahoo.com)just to see what would happen. The system automatically adds the @yahoo.com when I leave it off.

I had the same problem. After many tries it finely worked. After calling Apple for a separate issue I was told that this happens with Yahoo when thier servers are busy. I have since switched to using Windows contacts.

Yea, I believe you can sync your address book that's in Windows. I used to sync my iPhone to my Windows PC, but have since gotten a Mac so I can't remember everything about syncing to a Windows PC. But none the less, if syncing to Address book is possible. Import your Yahoo contacts to that address book, and sync from there.
