this phone is very very new and very rare right now..however...
if anyone is also using it and can share any 'sync' learnings...it would be appreciated....
all i need is to sync my contacts....
photo, image, and sound file transfer via BT is seamless....
I just got my 8800 today, and am very frustrated by the fact that isync doesn't yet support the phone. As I understand it, isync doesn't support any of the Nokia phones that run the 'Series 40' OS. In the meantime, I am trying to copy from SIM to transfer addresses from my previous mobile (which was isyncable).
Good luck, and let me know if you discover any news.
Well, I sent my contacts from my PBook to the 8800 via BT...was a longer process but worked fine...however iSync is not a possibility at the moment.
Let's keep in touch regarding any updates. A fantastic and great quality phone none the less.
Will do Michael. By the way, how did you transfer your contacts from your PB via Bluetooth to your Nokia? (Having been so reliant on isync, I don't know how to do that).
you have to use your BT manager...or actually from within your Address book you can select SEND via BT...make sure BT is on for both the mac and 8800...pretty easy...
