Hi JC,
You will need AppleWorks 6.2.4 or AppleWorks 6.2.9 to run well on the MacBook and Tiger.
You should be able to obtain AW 6.2.4 from Mac Hardcore.
Although the AW 6 version on your iBook may not run on your MacBook, it can be updated to 6.2.9 before (or after) transferring it to the newer machine.
You can download the updater from
this page. Note that the updater comes in several language versions, including two English versions. The one at the top of the list is the International English version. The US/North American English version is the link in the upper right corner of the page identified only by file size (15.8 MB).
To transfer AppleWorks to the MacBook requires only moving the entire AppleWorks 6 folder and its contents into the Applications folder on the MacBook via ethernet, a CD, or a flash drive. Do NOT transfer associated files (eg. preferences files). AppleWorks will create new, clean versions of these as it needs them.
Note that the AppleWorks User Licence authorises installation on only one computer at a time. To remain within the terms of the licence, you should delete the AW 6 folder from the old machine after making the transfer.
Regards,
Barry
