Cleaning Mousepad?

What do you suggest to clean the trackpad on my macbook to remove the finger oil that makes it all shiny. I heard Mr. Clean Magic Erasers but no luck? What should I use?

thanks!

Magic Erasers are not recommended to clean a MacBook, as many users will lead you to believe. as for your trackpad there is no real way of getting the oil up as far as i know. Apple recommends using 'a cloth and warm water' to clean the palm rest and trackpad (but don't forget to shutdown your MacBook). There is a way to keep it clean and that is a trackpad film, you can buy it online at [powersupportusa|http://www.powersupportusa.com> [here|http://www.powersupportusa.com/products/macbook-wrtp.php?category=mb]. you may be able to lay the film down, peel it off and the oil and dirt may come up. also no, iKlear is not recommended for the palm rest and trackpad area, just for the casing and lcd.

i don't know where you are looking at. i searched magic eraser on apple.com the article i am referring to is [here|http://www.apple.com/support/macbook>. but, it is talking about the outside of the case, i've also talked to meridrew (people who make iKlear) they don't even recommend using the product on the palm rest, just warm water and cloth.

feel free to post a link.
