Mail App "New mail" count wrong?

Mail App "New mail" count wrong?

i have no new mail, (Mail .app and .mac mail page tell me so)
yet the new mail app icon I just paid for (grrr) shows me i have 10 new messages?

if i click on the app, no new mail messages are shown or highlighted, just the desktop icon shows a "ten" on it?

Anyone else having this issue?

(ive done the 3 R's)

My setup is:

.Mac
GMail
Another POP account

The mail icon only shows the count for the POP account, not .Mac, and it's the default account.

Odd.

hmm ok my mistake, i was checking 2 accounts, but unlike mail where your inbox shows all new messages from all accounts together, you need to step back with the accounts arrow and individually check both inboxes seperately. hmmm

Yes, still bummed my .Mac shows nothing.
I will remove the other two to see what happens.

OK, I disabled the other two accounts and the .Mac has it's count correct on the icon.
Looks like a bug.

Will report.
